Kelsey first graduated from McMaster University with an Honour’s Bachelor of Kinesiology. During her undergraduate degree, Kelsey participated in a 1-year internship with McMaster Sport Medicine, where she was the student physical trainer for the Varsity Swim Team, and also gained many hours of clinical and on-field training. After graduating, she worked for 3 years as a Certified Kinesiologist in different rehabilitation settings, including outpatient Physiotherapy clinics. She later went on to pursue her Physiotherapy career at Queen’s University, where she graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. She has since gone on to continue her education, particularly in the manual therapy field, and has successfully completed her Level 3 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Certification. She also has training in acupuncture and dry needling. Kelsey’s passion in the field of Physical Therapy originated during her time as a National level competitive swimmer and athlete, where she sustained significant injuries of her own. She took a keen interest in human movement and the effect of injury on optimizing performance. Throughout Kelsey’s career in Physiotherapy, she has had the opportunity to work in variety of settings include acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, among others. She also has a vast amount of experience working with not only elite athletes, but patients of all age ranges including a geriatric and pediatric population and in multiple areas of practice such as orthopaedic and surgical rehab, neurology, cardiovascular rehab, sports injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

Kelsey is excited to grow her career in the region of Quinte West and provide optimal patient-centered care to the community.
