Chiropractors diagnose and treat disorders of the muscles, ligaments, joints, and nervous system through non-invasive methods of treatment. At TIHC, we utilize an evidence-informed approach that consists of a combination of hands-on therapy and exercise to assist in alleviating pain. We also provide education on how to manage and prevent injuries from occurring in the future.
What should I expect on my first visit?
After completing your intake paperwork (online or in person), our chiropractors will begin with a thorough health history and physical assessment. The health history may consist of questions regarding the following: signs and symptoms you are experiencing, personal and family medical history, surgeries and accidents and major illness. The physical exam may consists of the following tests: blood pressure, heart rate and neurological testing, orthopaedic testing, postural and movement screen, muscle and join palpation. Following the history and physical exam, your diagnosis will be discussed, and a plan of management will be prescribed. Your first treatment will begin following an informed consent form.
